Expectant Parents’ Group

Chosen Child Adoption Services offers a support group for waiting adoptive families. The group meets once a month, discussing a variety of topics, issues, and speakers related to adoption. This group is a great place for fellowship, the sharing of experiences, and furthering adoption education.



Parenting Education

Dallas Association for Parent Education: Serves parents with children ages 0-12. Offers parenting classes; prepared childbirth and refresher classes; programs for baby basics; breast-feeding; infant, child, and adult CPR and emergency first-aid. Also offers parent education workshops, support groups for mom with postpartum depression, and speakers to parents groups. 24-hour Warmline available as telephone support service to answer non-medical, non-crisis concerns of parents.

The Parenting Center: Serves any child or adult needing services. Offer parenting and family life education classes on more than 60 relevant topics, ranging from birth through the teen years. Provides clinical counseling services. Individual, group, couples, and family counseling. Play therapy provided for children as young as 3 years. Monday through Friday from noon to 3pm there is a Parenting Advice Helpline.
